Day 1 – Lunch Included
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the pier.
Board the luxury boat, where a simple breakfast, coffee, and tea will be served.
Today’s program includes visits to the famous Pak Ou Caves and an ethnic Lao village. Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch on board before arriving in Pak Beng in the afternoon for an overnight stay in this charming riverside town.
Spend the evening exploring the cosy town of Pak Beng. Your boat host will be happy to recommend local dining options.
Please note Pak Beng can be very cold from November to January—bring warm clothes or a jacket.
Day 2 – Breakfast & Lunch Included
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and board the Luxury Cruise for the final leg of your Mekong journey.
Lunch will be served on board, and there will be one stop at a riverside village before arriving in Houay Xai at around 16:30—perfect timing to cross into Thailand for your onward travels.
You will be transferred to the Lao Thai border, and a bus ticket will be provided for crossing to Chiang Khong on the Thai side.
